About Us |
Club historyBrett Baxter and Geoff Kerby, who were both members of a local transport club, first thought about forming a motorcycle club in 2004, with the aim of providing support for ‘classic’ motorcycle riders in Cornwall and West Devon. The inaugural meeting was held on February 16th. 2006, with Brett Baxter as Chairman, a position he still holds. The club holds monthly meetings, social evenings and club runs, details of which can be found on the news and events pages. The proceeds from these and other events are used to support nominated charities. This year, as in previous years, any surplus is being donated to the Cornwall Air Ambulance. The club also publishes a very popular monthly magazine, called ‘Classics’, available free to club members. The club has gone from strength to strength and holds an annual club show, the ‘Festival of Motorcycles and Classic Vehicle Rally’. This popular event is held over 2 days and attracts a vide range of participants and provides an excellent day out for all. The club has something to offer for all motorcyclists. British classic, Japanese, Continental or modern machine riders. Members also benefit from discounts at a number of retail outlets for parts and supplies. Looking for support and encouragement from like minded motorcyclists? The club provides it along with great social events. |
